    Gutterplus 85 was born from an idea back in 1982 by Mr M Lambert, the proprietor. Our company was officially launched in the spring of 1985 after nearly three years of part time activity. By September 1986 the interest was so great that it became a very demanding full-time occupation, installing new rainwater systems and wooden fascia boards etc.

    At around the same time PVCu fascia boards etc. were becoming available and as an “add-on” they became more popular as the appeal of “low maintenance” became the norm. Gutterplus 85 rapidly developed as field leaders and expanded accordingly with as many as ten highly trained installation teams (many of whom are still with the company to this day). Each individual is an employee of the company (not a subcontractor) and takes great pride in their work.

     By the mid 1990s the company started to get involved in PVCu windows, doors and porches etc. which are all fitted to a very high standard of workmanship.

      The company operates out of two premises at present, both warehouses. Our head office is in Longport; Stoke on Trent and our Cheshire branch is at Knutsford. We also have offices in Stafford and Alsager.

      We are experts in all aspects of PVCu installations, also roofing and felt/ carport roofing, We also have a “Canopies UK” franchise and are recognised as approved installers. These are operational from our Knutsford branch, which acts also as a tool and equipment hire centre. We have two D I Y and trade counters and employ around twenty-five people.

       We have remained exceptionally busy since the day we were launched and have hundreds of letters of thanks and tens of thousands of satisfied customers. We do not ask for a deposit and also do not expect payment for at least one month after the installation is completed. The majority of our customers are “Senior Citizens” because our prices are fair and we do a good job. We are also paid up members of “The Federation of Master Builders” and “Fair Trades”.

       We only use products that carry manufacturer backed guarantees and we are insured if in the unlikely event if it was needed.
